Get started in 3 steps

1. Install Claude Code

   Install from npm and authenticate with your Anthropic account.

   npm install -g @anthropic-ai/claude-code
   claude /login
   
2. Open your project

   Navigate to any project directory and start Claude Code.

   cd my-project
   claude
   
3. Start coding with AI

   Type any coding task in natural language and let Claude handle it.

Claude Code needs access to your files and terminal to work. It will ask for your permission before running any commands or modifying files.
